Part of Hawthorne since its founding in 1928, Saint Joseph School is proud to have a firm commitment to a faith-based excellent education that forms a learning community.

These past 9 years, I became closer to each and every one of my classmates, who I now consider to be my second family. I strongly believe that you can create unique, indescribable bonds here that you cannot find at any other school. St. Joseph has created a community filled with love, support, safety, and happiness. It has allowed me to flourish as a student, friend, and person overall.

Application Steps
Fill out our form to take a tour of the school. You can also call the office directly.
At the time of the tour, we will answer any questions you may have. As well as go over tuition and fees.
Your child will be scheduled to complete an assessment. Once we have reviewed the application, the assessment and interviewed your family, we will call you to see if we can make an offer for admission.
We look forward to meeting you and the future SJS Eagle!

The school, mindful of its mission to be a witness to the love of Christ for all, admits students regardless of race, color or national and/or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, disability, medical condition, sex or national and/or ethnic origin in the administration of educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs, although certain athletic leagues and other programs may limit participation and some archdiocesan schools operate as single sex schools.
While the school does not discriminate against students with special needs, a full range of services may not always be available to them. Decisions concerning the admission and continued enrollment of a student in the school are based upon the student’s emotional, academic and physical abilities and the resources available to the school in meeting the student’s needs.
Because we receive support from the Archdiocese and Saint Joseph Parish, we are able to offer lower tuition rates to families registered with Saint Joseph Parish or another Catholic parish.
We are also willing to offer financial assistance and scholarships to families who would like a Catholic education for their children but cannot afford the full amount. Please reach out to our office or principal for further information.
