What is STEM?

At Saint Joseph, students in grades K-8 participate in STEM lab once a week. Each group (a smaller subsection of the grade) encounters a variety of developmentally-appropriate projects and activities designed to enhance their skills and knowledge in STEM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). As students get older, their projects increasingly encourage scholars to looks for opportunities to help the broader school, parish, and local communities.
